Martin Tubbs[1] is an Honor student and totally dependent on his glasses. Martin is what most people would call a nerd but despite this, he has proven himself to be a faithful companion. He is madly attracted to Irma, although she only sees him as a friend. He is a member of the Happy Bears, a boy-and girl-scout group located in Heatherfield. An unpopular nerd who has a helpless crush on Irma, he believes she has feelings for him, but doubted when Irma publicly humiliated him on school-wide radio. Irma later apologized. Martin is a member of the Happy Bears and introduces Irma to the group when W.i.t.c.h isn't getting along.

He is madly attracted to Irma, who only sees him as a friend. He was interested in Sondra but after he found out she was not from Switzerland, he went back to crushing on Irma. He is a member of the Happy Bears, a boy-and girl-scout group located in Heatherfield. He is good friends with Nigel. Irma, his major crush, joins the Happy Bears a little later in the book series. She surprisingly feels comfortable there. Later in the Ludmoore Saga, Martin gets his own girlfriend in the form of his French pen pal, Michelle, who thinks he is interesting and praises his slideshow.

Alternate Timeline

In issue #50 a possible future shows, Martin grew up to be a very good-looking young man but he still had his old geeky quirks. He had moved out to Midgale for work but decided to return to Heatherfield and later ran into Irma at the supermarket. He helped the girls move things out of Mrs. Rudolph's place with his truck at Irma's request. Irma found him attractive in this timeline.
